This is what a practical rifle rest should be! Very portable, especially with the carry case. Works with every rifle I have tactical or varmint. It makes quick work of zeroing the rifle as well as testing the varied ammo loads I use. I have several other brands of rifle rests, but no longer use them.

This rifle rest is great at the range! It works for all my bolt guns and I find it superior to other rests and/or bag options. The only shortcoming I can find is that M4 (AR-15 carbines) don't work well due to the skeleton stock. Wally, come up with an accessory support for further in toward the receiver that rests on the extension tube.

Absolutely top quality product, Wally personally answered all my questions. This rest is especially suited for lever action rifles. Thanks

5 stars for its category The Mod 500 is basic, a good solid shooting platform because of its weight, well made and should last a life time. I was upgraded with a Mod 1000 base because no "500" bases were in stock, altho the Mod 1000 base is nice, the Mod 500 base as a basic shooting platform would perform for the most part as well as the 1000 base if you are not into tweaking "leveling" a shooting platform. Con: bit pricey but for a specialty company, guess its expected.

If you're looking for a rifle rest, this is it. I am very pleased with the Model 500. The product is rock solid. The design allows you to make the necessary fine adjustments to put your rifle on target. The rest is very stable after each shot and will not move.

This is a high quality American made product. I have shot smaller groups using this rest than previous rest I have used. It is nice to see what your rifle is capable of.

This is the best rest I ever used. The rest is very solid and extremely well built. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a rifle rest. I called the owner of the company several times before I bought my rest. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. The rest is very easy to use and really allows you to get the gun stable while sighting in and pattern different loads. The model 500 also works with rifles, lever actions and AR 15's. I also used the rest to level my rifle before I installed my scope. You cant even compare this rest to the other rests on the market, not to mention the fact that it's 100% made in the USA

500 is a quality product. It certainly does the job well. I shot 1 5/8 inch group @ 300 yds on the first time I used it. And I think I will do better next time...

Wow, this is the nicest rifle rest that I have ever used. It is substantial, it stays where you place it and it is so easy to align your cross hairs on your target. I bought one for myself and now a second one for my wife so I can get to use mine. This is a great product that should appeal to anyone that takes rifle shooting seriously and wants to get the absolute best performance out of their rifle. If you want to see just how good your rifle or loads are Target Shooting.com is the place to go.

Hello from Wisconsin, Wally Before upgrading to the new Model 500 Rifle Rest I owned the original Model 500 for several years. I want you to know the new one is so much better and worth the upgrade! I am using my old Model 500 with your Bull-Vise for my bench gun cleaning and scope mounting. It will be used by my Grandson for Prairie Dog hunting. For the new Model 500 I have two sizes of sandbags each with it's own post mounting. That is really the way to go instead of changing the bags on one post mount. I have the large wheel for vertical adjustment and the large Magnum adjusting knob for the post. The accessories are all precision fit and absolutely top quality. My groups have all tightened up at the range and the Prairie Dogs are easier to connect with at longer ranges. Thank you for making my days in the field more productive and enjoyable with your rifle rests!

Wally, I've had a chance to use the 500 rest that I got from you about a month ago. I've used it on a good table with concrete pads underneath it. This is the first time that I have been able to see what my rifles will ACTUALLY do. The rest is awesome. Ive shot bolt-action hunitng rifles and a couple of asault rifles with 30 round magazines, and it does a great job with both. I will never use towels or bags again.

Thanks for a great product.

Hello Wally

I live in the Las Vegas Nevada area. I joined the Diana Projuect and learned to shoot and hunt, last year. and I kinda got the target shooting bug too.

Tarva Lee. the Diana Project director, had a couple of guns and your gun rests we used for our range training. I have shot over a few other gun rests since then, and as new to this as I am , I can tell they are no comparison to yours

Sooo, I need to buy one of my own now. Tarva said you may be able to offer me a small discount as a Dikana Project student I am also a newly certified Hunter Ideucator for the State of Nevada

Hope the snows are not giving you anyh problesms

Thanks.

I just wanted to let you know I got the 500 rest I ordered from you over the weekend. I am extremly impressed with the quality and workmanship. Your motto definitly applies!

I'm also tickled it came today for another reason. I am going to give it to my Dad for his 70th birthday. Today was that day, and the rest was delivered today. When I saw the package, I told him to open his birthday present. He was as happy as I. I want to commend you on your customer service. I just hope he lets me borrow it when we go to the range!

The new parts got here yesterday, and everything fits nicely.

Over the next 2 years my hope is to move out of Washington, to a state that is class 3 friendly, and where it’s possible to shoot on my own property without bothering anyone. One of the things I’ve always enjoyed is long range targeting, and I just can’t do that on this side of Washington, as everyplace I used to shoot when I was young is now posted “no shooting.” Going to a range is OK for some types of shooting, but you’re limited to paper targets for the most part. Nothing quite like shaking up a soda and hitting it with a .17 HMR polymer tip round.

You’ve been a great person to do business with, and have an awesome product line.
Thank you!

I purchased the Model 500 with the pistol rest set-up last month and it works great. This rest is "the solution" for shooting a lever action. But, the real surprise was with the pistol rest. This works better than any sand bag arrangement. I like testing revolver handload accuracy and this is like using a machine rest, except I'm the one holding the gun and can take credit for the groups.
