I come from a family of aerospace machinist. This rest is work of art. Fit and finish is first class. First time at the range I shot 242 of 250 on IBS Target. Tried all the other rests then bought the best. Pricing is well worth the money 1/3 the cost of my target rifle. The owner Wally is a shooter and genuinely cares about your satisfaction. Wally sets up each rest to your needs. Wally called to ask how the rest performed and gave me some tricks to improve even more. If you want the best here it is.

I cannot express enough my satisfaction with my 1000 rifle rest. I have used it multiple times, and wanted to really get to know this rest before I wrote a review. The 1000 rifle rest offers a wide range of adjustments to accommodate any rifle I own. The workmanship and machining is impressive and makes my investment a good value to me. The old saying "Buy the best once and only feel the pain once" is appropriate in this case. I am sure this fine rest will service me well and be passed on to my grandchildren. One thing I will say is to purchase the optional rifle stop at the onset. I tried it w/o the stop, and immediately knew I wanted the additional accessory. I am a 100% satisfied customer, and Wally keeps in touch to make sure I am satisfied. Awesome product...awesome customer service!

I got my new Target Shooting rest today and it is everything I imagined it to be. Have spent the last hour playing with it. Am looking forwad to getting it to the range. If I don't shoot straight it will not be due to this rest.

It is a first-rate piece of engineering and craftmanship. I work on the Space Shuttle program and I get to lay my hands on some top-tier pieces of American engineering and your rest is right in there.
Wally, thanks again for the base upgrade. Can't say enough except that I will be back for more of your product.

Wally,

Today I utilized the Model 1000 to zero my DPMS Panther LR .308. I simply could not be happier with the rest. I found it to be very simple to manipulate with the rifle actually on the rest while sighting in. Dialing in the rear (height) adjustments was incredibly easy with the rear fine tuning accessory. The Model 1000 certainly minimized the "human error" as the rifle I was shooting was relatively new to me. In addition, unlike rifles I have fired in the past, the rifle was completely stock and unmodified. As a former military and federal law enforcement sniper, I feel that the rest is an invaluable tool. While I was only zeroing at 100 yards (standard for federal law enforcement), and while I am a bit rusty on the "long gun", I was very satisfied with the results. (Needless to say, I am very happy with the rifle too)!! I scanned the results of my shooting and am sending them as an attachment. Again, thanks for a quality product.

Hi Wally, Just received my model 1000 and accessories, and wanted to thank you for everything. It is beautiful! I am sorry to say that most of my firearms are not this well made. The best to you and yours in 2007. Thanks again.

I ordered a model 1000 rifle rest from you a while back and am extremely happy with it. What an excellent product that is.

Hey Wally!!
I went to the rifle range yesterday and here are the results. I was using Ultra Max remanufactured 55 gr ballistic tip 223 in an AR15 with a 24" SS bull barrel made by Rock River Arms with a Bushnell 6-18x50 Scope. The attached targets speak for themselves. The single target was shot off of sand bags and the attachment with the two targets was shot from the Model 1000 rifle rest.
It DEFINITLY made a DIFFERENCE!!
THANK YOU for a great product!

Walley,
You may remember I ordered a rifle rest 1000, that I received a few weeks ago. Finally got to the range yesterday. Just to let you know it is absolutly, one of the best investments I made for shooting.
Can't tell how happy I am with it, this stand will come with
me everytime I go to the range. Great product, great workmenship and made in America.

Wally what is the cost for an extra butt stock saddle and the slippery tape?

Thanks

Good afternoon Wally. I finally got the opportunity to use the recently purchased Model 1000. What a true pleasure to have such a superb piece of equipment. The rear adjustment is a bonus and works well. A few onlookers who had never seen one of your rifle rests asked several questions and were provided with your website. How nice it is to have the best quality available with such great features. It most certainly will last forever and is therefore worth the investment.

Good morning Wally;
I received the foot caps yesterday in the mail. Thanks. I appreciate your
help.
I really like your 1000. I wish I could shoot this weekend, but will have
to wait to next... The 1000 is great. You did a great job on it!

A friend and I compare your 1000 to the Ben Dale's Apex Edge Pro knife
sharpener. It is not cheap, but so well made and does the job better than
anything else out there... I have spent too much money on knife sharpeners
and they are all OK, some better than others. But Ben Dale's works in
spades. Your 1000 is the same way.
Best regards.

Wally
Best customer service I ever had. Not only did you answer my questions about the product but I got good tips on using it and on hunting prairie dogs.

I am embarrassed to admit it but..................... I would have been allot more talkative but I was on the thrown when you called. There was someone on the one next to me and a full house at the urinals. I was trying to minimize my chat. :-)

I haven't prairie dog hunted yet but I am super excited about it. I bought a new rifle, now the rest, a US Optics scope and as soon as the season hits I am out there.
Thanks again

Wally:
The gun stop and sand bag arrived yesterday. The timing was perfect,
since my buddy and I went to our gun club today. We used the 1000 to dial in
his newly mounted Leopold scope. I had to laugh since once we were set up on
the rest and started to adjust things, he kept saying Oh, yeah and right on
and very smooth with each adjustment that I showed him. We were both amazed
and pleased with the difference the 1000 made in our shooting today. Your
rest, not only made out zeroing effort easier but made the entire day of
shooting much more enjoyable and relaxing. He ask me to send him you site,
so I suspect that you may be getting another order soon. Thanks for a great
product.

Hi Wally,

It's amazing what a difference the rest made. Now I can actually measure slight variations in ammo loads! The range I use is a 100yd indoor, so wind is no factor, but now I can accurately set a 200yd+ zero based on the ballistic data.

The rear fine tune works perfectly. It really shines when using any scope greater than 14x with a fine target dot. I can't imagine using the rest without it.

Only have two problems that cropped up. The level fell after a few shots. Seems the double sided tape it's enough for it's size I replaced it with a T-level which I placed on the cast base. Also the poly tape on both the front supports and the rear support has started peeling back at the corners.

Question: Which size Protektor sandbag does the rest us: #1, #2, or #3? Thanks.

Wally I wanted to thankyou for taking the time to go over the setup and finer oints of the model 1000 rest. It is by far the best rest I have ever used to punch paper with. It really takes the human error out of shooting and lets the shooter see what his rifle can do. Thanks again

Dear Wally:

Thanks for creating a magnificent gun rest. Finally, someone has removed all of the frustration associated with sighting a rifle in. As a matter of fact, your Model 1000 made it an absolute pleasure. As soon as it arrived, my son and I headed for the rifle range with my .257 Weatherby Accumark Magnum, .22-250 (Weatherby Mark V action and heavy Krieger Accumark barrel) and assortment of other family rifles that had never been fully dialed in using a rock-solid, infinitely adjustable and precise piece of equipment like yours. In the past, I used a rag tag collection of sand bags, wedged logs, bipods, etc., only to shake and shimmy at long distance sightings.

My .257 WM and .22-250 are both rigged with Nightforce NXS 5.5 X 22X56 scopes and Np-R2 reticles. I can't express what a pleasure it was to sight those long range babies in with your rest. With large front correction wheel and rear precision tuning adjustment, I could obtain a crystal clear and vibration free target image at 300, 500, and even 1,000 yards. All the little details, controls, adjustments and machined parts are perfect - truly a work of practical art.

Working with you was a true pleasure. Your gun knowledge, kindness and efforts to expedite shipping were a breath of fresh air in this modern world where every customer just seems to be another number.

Sincerely,

Scott Ortkiese
